My Story
As a project manager in an IT company, I spent a good portion of my time dealing with NDAs. Whether it was new employees, collaborators, or business partners, each document required meticulous attention to avoid any mistakes that could lead to information leaks.
The Decisive Moment
It all culminated in a busy week when I realized I had manually completed over 200 NDAs. A quick calculation made me understand that I had lost over 40 hours just correcting data and checking each line. It was the point where I decided something had to change.
The Discovery
Automated documentation seemed like the ideal solution, and LexiFlow was the platform that promised just that. I began to explore how I could turn this chore into an efficient process.
Step-by-Step Process
- Template: I created a template for NDAs in LexiFlow, using
{{participant_name}},{{signing_date}}, and{{confidentiality_terms}}to make the document dynamic. - Configuring Data Sources: I connected our internal database and a CSV file with participant information to automatically retrieve the necessary data.
- Mapping Variables: I mapped the template variables to the fields in the data sources, ensuring each NDA is correctly customized.
- Building the Flow: I created a flow in LexiFlow that automates the generation of NDA batches whenever a new list of needs arises.
Life After
With automated documentation through LexiFlow, the time spent on NDAs has dramatically decreased. Not only did I save precious hours, but I also eliminated the risk of human errors. Now I can focus on other aspects of my projects, knowing that the administrative part is well managed.
